Josh Langston
Josh Langston has been a writer all his life, beginning as a child in Minneapolis, MN, and continuing to his current residence in Marietta, GA, which he shares with his bride of four decades, their two undisciplined mutts, and an odd number of goldfish.  A graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in journalism, Josh's writing tastes quickly shifted away from non-fiction.  His short stories have been published in a variety of magazines and anthologies.

His first novel, Druids, co-authored with Barbara Galler-Smith of Edmonton, Alberta, debuted in October, 2009.  The first title in a series of historical fantasies, Druids is set in the first century BC. The second volume, Captives, hit the bookstores -- and multiple bestseller lists -- in May, 2011. The final book in the trilogy, Warriors, is due out in May, 2012.

When not writing fiction, Josh develops multi-media presentations about interesting facets of Georgia's past for historical societies around the state.

About (Biography)

Writing isn't Josh's only passion, although he is currently mentoring two young authors and has taught a number of creative writing classes over the years. His slide shows about Georgia history provide a dramatic outlet for two of his other hobbies: storytelling and photography.
He also enjoys travel, music, and really good bourbon.

His first novel, Druids, co-authored with Barbara Galler-Smith of Edmonton, Alberta, debuted in October, 2009.  The first title in a series of historical fantasies, Druids is set in the first century BC. (It was a finalist for the Aurora Award, Canada's highest honor for speculative fiction.) The follow-up book, Captives, hit the bookstores -- and multiple bestseller lists -- in May, 2011. Warriors, the final volume in the trilogy is scheduled for release in May, 2012.

More recently, Josh has been focusing his efforts on contemporary thrillers. The just released Resurrection Blues is a fine example. Other titles are in the works, including a pair of tales featuring a two-foot tall Indian, a rogue masquerading as a saint, and more.
