Welcome! You're now staring at page one of yet another work in progress. Ho hum, right? But wait -- there are links to finished stuff: books and stories filled with material that's actually entertaining! I write action/adventure fiction, some set in the distant past, some that could be happening right now, and some set far in the future. My only guarantee is that I've done everything I can to create lively, meaningful stories with characters you might not necessarily want to meet, but with whom you'll have some laughs, maybe a gasp or two, and a great ride. My fondest hope is that you'll come back looking for more.
What's going on right now?
I'm working on a brand new project, but it's way too early to reveal any details. I'm pleased to announce, however, that my newest novel, Resurrection Blues, is now available in paperback. If you've got an E-reader -- Nook, Kindle, Ipad, whatever -- you can download any of my titles in an electronic form to match your reader's requirements. E-book titles are generally much cheaper, but I recognize some folks just love the feel of the printed page. You can find the books at any of the on-line retailers. I prefer Smashwords.com for E-books.
You can order a printed copy of Resurrection Blues right here!
The town of Resurrection isn't supposed to exist. The people who live
there pay no taxes and receive no services--and they like it that way.
Life is idyllic for the residents of this sheltered little
village in the Appalachian foothills of northern Alabama -- until an IRS
agent called "The Executioner" starts nosing around. Suddenly,
everything has changed, and unless he's stopped, things will never return to normal.
What readers are saying about Resurrection Blues:
“If you're a Carl Hiaasen fan, you need to read
Resurrection Blues! Langston's style is similar to Hiaasen's in that he is adept at creating memorable, quirky characters and clever dialog. It reads like a Hiaasen novel with a bonus twist of fantasy.” --E. Elder, Portland, Oregon
“
Resurrection Blues is a wonderful, lighthearted, intriguing story about ordinary people in an extraordinary set of circumstances. Multiple storylines involving tax evasion, strip clubs, love affairs, and blackmail, converge on a secret society in a hidden Alabama valley, where people live in a modern-day utopia.” --M. Bonsager, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“Somewhere between a fairy tale, The Stepford Wives, and Law and Order! Really fun to read.” --S. Ash, Atlanta, Georgia.
